Sorry for the interruption folks!!! Yesterday, Matt got his paycheck (yippie!) and I was busy using that to figure out our monthly spending goal for this past month and those for the future. My Uncle T asked if we had ever had monthly paychecks before (vs. semi-monthly) and I realized then that we hadn't. He said it's a different experience than getting paid half way through the month. Boy was he right! But, we made this last month under budget so we'll have a few dollars to tuck away! Hooray!
On Tuesday night, we had another great date night! We went to our friend Eric's championship hockey game. Stephanie, Matt and I all had dinner at the game and we even convinced a few other people sitting near us to cheer on 'ol Yellow Pants. Stephanie had also invited another friend and two kids to the game. They were all was really nice and is was great to have our cheering team double. Not surprisingly, Eric's team won!
Yesterday, we got a package from the Easter Bunny! When I opened the box, I had no idea that a black cat was going to burst out and yell, "surprise!"
Ha, Ha, April Fools! :) OK, so maybe that isn't what actually happened, but isn't that photo funny?
We got a fun basket from Mary - thanks, Mary! One of the chocolate bunnies has already been annihilated. Poor little bunny, he never had a chance up against the Sweet Tooth Monster we all know as Matt.
Last night, I got a call from a friend updating me on her recent visit to Paris. Matt borrowed the movie Amelia and we watched that after my phone call. I personally thought it was blah and confusing how they bounced back and forth between timelines. I was thankful to have Matt since he knew what was going on...
Today is Matt's last day of work for the week - we are going on an extended weekend getaway and I will be sure to bring the camera and report on our fun!
