Another Week Without Matt

Well, today marks the second week of Matt working in PA.  I was sadder to see him go this time because it hit me last week that he would actually be gone for a substantial time.  But, it looks like I will have the opportunity to see him each weekend (cross your fingers!) and if that's the case, it really makes things a lot easier.  We each get to do our thing during the week, at night we chat and then on the weekends we have fun.

Not much to report on yesterday.  We went to brunch with Steph and by the time we got back, Matt had to leave an hour later.  It's about a 4.5 drive for him so he didn't want to get to the hotel too late.  I did get a chance to talk with him last night and he made it safe and sound.  Last night, Steph and I went for a walk around the complex and then I dipped my feet in the pool while we chatted more.  I think I finally may be brave enough to swim in the pool seeing that the temperature of the water has been pretty chilly.

After our walk, I scrap-booked and finally finished all my wedding books from which I have dedicated a section to each wedding I planned through my old company.  I used these books at bridal shows to demonstrate my experience to future couples.  But now I wanted them done for nostalgic reasons.  I had two more weddings pages remaining and I finished them last night.  It feels good to have that project done.  It's fun, from time to time, to flip through each wedding and remember what was involved.

Today I'm going to work more on my herb garden and re-plant them into pretty pots so they have more room to let their roots stretch out.  So far, since last Thursday, I can already tell they all have grown a bit and my sage is starting to sprout a flower.  I'll take a picture so I can show it off tomorrow.  :)
