These past two days have been centered around one of my favorite things....Cupcakes! Ah-ha, you may be thinking, goodness Kirsten, how many cupcakes do you need to eat in your lifetime. But I fooled you, because this time the cupcakes were for my kid's event! :)
I thought it would be fun to have a cupcake decorating event that led into the Halloween season. This time, I went shopping for all the decorations and I had a blast! I had forgotten how much I enjoy buying themed party supplies (something I obviously didn't get much of a chance to do when planning mostly weddings!) The timing of this was so perfect because Stephanie had requested cupcakes for her birthday, too!
When I got home, I neatly arranged all my supplies so I could see what I'd be displaying...
Yesterday I spent the morning making the cupcakes. I made 48 all together and when the event was all done, I only had 6 left!!! Needless to say, this was a successful event! :)
These were made to inspire the kids...and I think they did a pretty good job as you will see from the following pictures.
As you can see, I had to be fast with the photos before they got eaten! :)
We, of course had to have our famous face-painter, Greg (he's so amazing at it!) and he, too, was a hit!
