Tuesday, My New Saturday!

Matt had a great 2nd day of work. Yesterday he actually got to work during his training. From what I understand, he's being trained on how to find defects in glass. One of the methods is by putting it under a specific type of light and it will show off different colors within the glass. This is what helps determine where the strong and weak points are. Supposedly, it's really pretty to look at the glass because it omits beautiful colors.

I worked on a couple of different projects throughout the day. I've been tackling the office slowly because I'll look at my computer and think, "Oh yeah, I should pay this bill." So I'll do some computer work. Then I'll look behind me and say, "Oh yeah, I can put these books on this shelf and it will clear this area for my projects." So then I'll tackle that. I'm never going to get anything done at this rate! :)

Additionally, I had a great conversation through Skype with a CA friend. I think Skype is a wonderful thing because you really can't feel too far away from your loved ones when you use it.

Later that evening, Matt and I went out for date night! The past couple of Tuesdays, we have gone to the movies. This time, we took advantage of a BBQ joint near us and had $.45 wings. Then we went home and watched the season premiere of Lost.

Yes, that is me being a kitty hog! Can I help it if they flock to me? ;)
