Farmer Ladies!

As I mentioned in the last post, we went to the farm today. Abby went to farm school last year and she was an excellent tour guide. She introduced us to all the animals (along with all their names) as you can see from the pictures...sorry in advance, but I do not remember their names. :(

Next we learned about horses.  Abby, as you see hasn't quite reached the hight of a full grown horse...

But it does look like they are ready to be a couple of cowgirls!

We had a picnic outside until some flys took over and we moved things into the air conditioned car.  Oh well, it was pretty hot outside anyway!

Since it was so icky out, we spent the second part of the day indoors. Kara wanted to make cookies and marshmallows so I played with the kids. This was a win-win for me! I got to play with kids I love and eat cookies!

We went to Kimballs for dinner and ice cream. It was such a huge area filled with many play lands, a restaurant, a general store and an ice cream stand. We all enjoyed a very yummy dinner as you can see -

Doesn't it look like Abby is thinking, "Hmmm...I wonder what kind of ice cream I'm going to get?"

And Lizzy is saying, "What, Abby, did you say ice cream!?  Hooray!"
